I specialise in teaching folk guitar, 5-stringed banjo and old-time fiddle. I am happy to teach all age groups and to take on students at all levels, from beginners to advanced. I take an encouraging and relaxed approach to teaching, and tailor my lessons to suit my students' needs. I teach by ear, and using tablature. I can give you lessons at my home in Cambridge, or may be able to travel to you (I cover Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and parts of Essex and Bedfordshire). My rates are competitive.
